I came right when they opened on a Thursday morning and was seated right away. I ordered the Brussels sprouts to start and they came out very quickly. Shortly after, the steak and frites came out. The service was great and very quickly. The food was tasty and so was the drink I ordered. I highly recommend this restaurant whenever you are in downtown Evansville.
My fiance and my FAVORITE place in Evansville, IN! We love the classic smash, Nashville hot chicken and the spicy fries. We love this place so much that we got engaged here and plan on doing engagement pictures here as well! We love the staff, vibes, food and drinks. Nothing bad to say about this GEMin Evansville!
We were looking for a place to eat after a medical procedure and stumbled into Samel's. Boy, were we surprised and very lucky. We had a couple of side dishes and main course dishes. All were excellently prepared and plated. Tastes were huge. A totally unexpected experience. I can't say enough. Samuel's is a small bar that serves food and great food. If you ever have a chance to go to Samuel's, I highly recommend you go there. The staff was courteous and very friendly. We sat outside to enjoy the 80-degree weather. First time here. We were greeted and sat right away. This is a cute little restaurant. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich, club style. My husband ordered the patty melt. The sides are sold separately, so we ordered the regular fries, with aoli sauce. It was all really good. We also ordered 2 drinks that were really good. We would recommend trying this cute place.
My wife and I were on a road trip and stayed a night in Evansville. We found this restaurant that was near our hotel. Both of our meals were fantastic! We had the Brussels sprouts which were delicious! I had a special smash burger, it was perfectly done and delicious. My wife had the steak frites, it was perfectly done, wonderfully seasoned, and visually perfect. The wines were very nice. We would eat there again.
Visiting from Portland, OR for work. Everything about this place was perfect. Burgers were absolutely killer, the service was top notch (shout out to Brie). The specials were actually special and amazing. We had sliced tomato for an app and the spicy peach and goat cheese smash burger. And then also the peanut butter bacon smash for good measure. 100/10 would recommend. Bonus points for having a spaghett on the drink menu.
